IGramAPI gives you access to information that is publicly visible on Instagram. With that comes responsibility. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Public information only
- The Service returns public information. Do not attempt to use it, or to work around it, to reach private accounts, private messages or any non-public content.
- Do not try to bypass or interfere with our limits, authentication, billing or security controls, and do not share your API keys.
2. What you must not do
You must not use the Service to:
- Harass, stalk, threaten, dox or intimidate any person, or to track an individual’s activity in a way that endangers or distresses them.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or build lists for unlawful marketing.
- Target or profile children or collect data about people you know to be under 18 for any commercial purpose.
- Discriminate against people, or make decisions about someone’s employment, credit, housing, insurance or similar matters based on data from the Service.
- Infringe copyright or other rights. Content belongs to its creators. Download or reuse it only if you have the right to, and remove it when a rights holder asks.
- Break the law, including privacy and data-protection laws that apply to you and to the people whose data you handle.
- Mislead people, for example by faking engagement, impersonating accounts or creating deceptive content.
- Overload or attack the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or resell access to the API itself as a competing service.
3. Your responsibilities
- You decide how you use the data, so you are responsible for having a lawful basis, for being transparent with the people concerned where the law requires it and for honoring deletion and opt-out requests.
- Keep personal data to the minimum you need, store it securely and delete it when you no longer need it.
- You are responsible for complying with Instagram’s terms and policies as they apply to your own use.
- If you build a product for end users, make this policy part of your own terms for them.
4. Reporting problems
If you believe content or a use of the Service infringes your rights, or you see abuse, write to [email protected] with the details and, if you can, the profile or post involved. Rights holders can ask us to stop returning specific content, and we will review each request promptly.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations. Depending on severity we may warn you, limit features, suspend or terminate your account, refuse requests and report unlawful activity to the authorities. Where we end a paid plan for a breach, refunds are at our discretion as set out in the Refund Policy.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service and the law evolve. The date at the top shows the latest version.
