Frequently asked questions
Where do I find an audio id?
It is the number in an audio page link (instagram.com/reels/audio/{id}/). You can also pass a reel URL and the API resolves its audio.
Can I download the audio as MP3?
Yes. Send a video URL to the Downloader API with type `audio` and it returns an MP3 link.
Is licensed music free to reuse?
No. Rights belong to the owners. The API gives you information and links; usage rights are your responsibility.
Does it work for original sounds?
Yes. Original sounds return `audio_type: original_sound`.
Errors cost nothing. Any response with a status of 400 or above is refunded, and every error has the same shape. See error handling and credits and rate limits.
